Fighting armed groups. Exercises underway in Stolin

This Wednesday, September 11, exercises are taking place in the Belarusian city of Stolin (Brest region).

Actions are being developed to suppress the activities of illegal armed groups.

The Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs officially calls the event on its Telegram channel the instructor-methodological lesson “Stolin-2024”.

It is being carried out in cooperation with local authorities under the leadership of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Ivan Kubrakov.

The event may involve explosions of pyrotechnics and movement of special equipment.

In addition, the department noted, the following streets in the town are closed from seven o’clock in the morning until four o’clock in the evening:

- Dzerzhinsky (from Lenin to house No. 107);
- Krasnoarmeyskaya (from Tolstoy to Sovetskaya);
– International (from Lenin to Chkalov);
- Sovetskaya (from Poleskaya to Chkalov);
- Gorky (from the district executive committee parking lot to Chkalov);
- Chkalov (from Tolstoy to Sovetskaya);
– Karl Marx (from house No. 10 to Chkalov);
- Tereshkova (from Sovetskaya to the OSVOD parking lot).

The Ministry of Internal Affairs asks local residents to be understanding of the temporary inconvenience.
