The Ministry of Labor explained what incentive payments are available to young specialists in Belarus

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Belarus has explained what incentive payments are provided to young specialists.

The relevant information was published on the department’s official Telegram channel.

According to the information provided, if we are talking about commercial organizations, then the employer himself can determine the remuneration system.

Including the right to independently establish the composition of wages and incentive payments.

He can also set additional payments for young specialists himself, the report says.

Agro-industrial complex

As for young specialists with higher and secondary specialized education, employed in organizations of the agro-industrial complex.

This category of workers is paid a monthly supplement, the amount of which depends on their length of service.

In particular, for the first two years of work, the additional payment is determined in the amount of 0.46 of the base rate (from September 1, this is 116 rubles 40 kopecks).

For the next three years – 0.69 of the base rate (174 rubles 60 kopecks).

Budget employees

For young professionals working in the public sector, incentive payments are determined based on decisions of the relevant government agencies.

In particular, for employees of institutions subordinate to the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture, such payments will amount to 20% to 45% of their salary.

For employees of organizations subordinate to the Ministry of Sports, the indicator ranges from 10% to 50% of the salary.

Organizations of the Ministry of Health – from 20% to 50% of the salary, the Ministry of Labor – 10% of the salary.

Work in radioactive areas

For graduates of secondary specialized and higher educational institutions sent to work or serve in a radioactively contaminated area, annual payments are due in the amount of 14.5 to 21.5 base units (from 580 to 860 rubles).

The amount depends on the length of work in radioactive areas, the Ministry of Labor clarified.

Thus, after the first year of work, payments will amount to 14.5 base amounts (580 rubles).

After two years of work – 17.5 base (700 rubles), after three – 21.5 base (860 rubles).

In addition, young specialists sent to areas of radioactive contamination are entitled to one-time payments for work under a contract.

Their sizes:

– 200 base (8,000 rubles) – to those who signed a contract for 5 years after December 31, 2012 to work in organizations in zones with the right to resettlement and subsequent resettlement;
– 300 base (12,000 rubles) – if a second contract was concluded for 5 years after five years of work under the terms of the first contract.

Government Decree

The ministry also pointed out that a government decree established salary supplements through the allocation of additional funds.

These allowances apply to all areas – both budgetary and self-supporting organizations.

The amount of the bonuses in the latter is determined by the employer based on the financial capabilities of the organization.

In budgetary organizations, the size is limited to 18% of the salary amount, the department summarized.
