Recently it became known about the death of the most titled military man in Russia, Igor Rodobolsky, a native of the Belarusian city of Grodno.
This was reported by the office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Urals Federal District Vladimir Yakushev.
The sniper pilot and Hero of Russia passed away at the age of 64 in Yekaterinburg.
As reported by the portal "TUT NOVOSTI" with reference to the office of the plenipotentiary representative, Yakushev expressed deep condolences to the family and friends of the military man.
The death of the sniper pilot, Hero of the Russian Federation Igor Olegovich Rodobolsky is an irreparable loss for our entire country. He was an example of loyalty to service, the Motherland and the people, the statement says.
It is especially worth noting that, being the most titled Russian military man, Rodobolsky paid great attention to the education of the younger generations.
In particular, he took part in educational and patriotic projects of the Ural Federal District and held meetings with schoolchildren and students.
Igor Rodobolsky was born in Grodno in 1960. He was awarded two Orders of the Red Star, three Orders of Courage, the Order "For Service to the Motherland in the Armed Forces of the USSR" 3rd degree, and the Order "For Military Merit".
He was also awarded two medals “For Military Valor” and was nominated for the title of Hero of Russia three times.
