It recently became known that some residents of two districts of the Vitebsk region will be called up to form territorial troops.
The event starts on September 10 and ends on October 3.
The press service of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus reported this on its official Telegram channel.
According to the data released by the department, this concerns the conscription of military personnel from the Vitebsk and Orsha districts of the region.
They will take part in a training session of territorial troops.
The Ministry says that the purpose of the meeting is to improve the skills of officials from executive committees on the issue of forming military units of territorial troops.
As for those liable for military service, in this regard the purpose of the training is to carry out the tasks assigned to them, the Ministry of Defense reported.
