In Belarus, almost 200,000 rubles were collected from graduates who did not work the required period of time for their placement.
This concerns not only university students, but also those studying in secondary specialized educational institutions.
The relevant information was published in the State Control Committee’s telegram channel.
It is noted that the State Control Committee of the Gomel Region has established that in some universities and colleges of the region, proper control over the compliance of graduates with the established period of work was not ensured.
It also emerged that some educational institutions failed to provide feedback to the employers to whom their students were assigned.
There was no such connection, including when young people were fired for failure to comply with labor laws, in particular, for absenteeism.
In total, over 30 graduates were identified in the Gomel region who did not work the required period and did not reimburse the budget for about 300,000 rubles spent by the state on their education and training, the department noted.
The measures taken by the regional State Control Committee and educational institutions made it possible to collect over 120,000 rubles into the budget.
The return of the remaining funds spent by the state remains under control, the statement says.
The issue of graduates working the full term is also monitored in other regions of the country.
Thus, 76,000 rubles were collected into the budget from graduates of two Minsk universities who did not work the required period, the State Control Committee summarized.
