It seems like summer has given up the ghost. But Belarusians feel like it continues into September.

Yes, the nights have become cooler, but the daytime is still quite warm, and in some regions even hot.

In this regard, many are concerned about the following question: what will this autumn be like? Warm, “Pushkin-like”, or cold and uncomfortable?

The answer was given on air by the famous meteorologist Dmitry Ryabov on the ONT TV channel.

According to him, many forecasting centers expect the autumn of 2024 to be moderately warm, especially the first half.

September, according to experts, will be approximately 1-2 degrees warmer than usual, but a precipitation deficit is likely.

As for October, the arrival of a second Indian summer is not excluded, the forecaster noted.

November, the specialist points out, promises to be the most inclement month, with cloudy, windy, damp weather and a large amount of precipitation dominating.

At the same time, strong winds with heavy rains will attack in the second half of autumn.

Bad weather is usually followed by an arctic cold snap that threatens frost and even the first snow, Ryabov warned.

He admitted that snow might fall at the end of October, but it won’t last long, but that’s why the streets will be slushy.
