In Belarus, the list of types of activities permitted for individual entrepreneurs has been adjusted.
The changes are contained in the government decree number 637 of August 30 of this year.
The document was officially published on the country's legal internet portal.
Performing Arts
Two items have been excluded from the updated list:
– activities in the field of performing arts;
– activities that facilitate the holding of cultural and entertainment events.
It should be noted that, according to the national classifier of economic activities of Belarus, the first of the named points includes:
– staging and showing theatrical performances, concerts and other stage performances (performances of ensembles, orchestras and musical groups);
– activities of theatre and circus troupes;
– activities of individually performing actors, dancers, musicians, etc.;
– activities of independent radio and television program hosts;
– musical and entertainment services for weddings, anniversaries, and other special events.
The subclass excludes:
– activities of private theatrical or artistic agents or agencies;
– activities related to the selection of actors;
– conducting laser shows, fireworks and other similar performances.
Cultural and entertainment events
The second excluded item is “activities that facilitate the holding of cultural and entertainment events”, which implies:
– auxiliary work during the production of theatrical performances, concerts and other cultural and entertainment events (activities of directors, producers, stage designers and decorators, lighting technicians, etc.);
– the work of producers or entrepreneurs in organizing cultural and entertainment events;
– services for managing copyright and related rights to works of literature, fine, musical and performing arts.
The subclass excludes:
– services for managing rights to public showing of feature films;
– activities of private theatrical or artistic agents or agencies;
- casting conducted by agencies.
What is allowed
Now, in order to engage in the above-mentioned types of activities, individual entrepreneurs and individuals must register a company specifically for this area of work.
As for the types of activities permitted for individual entrepreneurs, the list includes the following:
– retail trade;
– services in the field of public catering;
– repair of cars and motorcycles;
– passenger and freight transportation;
– photo and video shooting;
– construction works;
– production of confectionery and bakery products;
- some other types of activities.
