Belarusian soldiers flew to Kyrgyzstan

It recently became known that Belarusian soldiers left their homeland and flew to Kyrgyzstan.

The press service of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus reported this on its official Telegram channel.

The department reported that the purpose of the military's visit to the Central Asian republic is to participate in CSTO exercises that will take place in the said country.

In particular, Belarusians will be involved in the following events:

- in the command and staff exercise with the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces (CRRF) of the CSTO “Interaction-2024”;
- in a special exercise with reconnaissance forces and means “Search-2024”;
- in the exercise with the forces and means of material and technical support of the troops (Collective Forces) of the CSTO "Echelon - 2024".

Please note: all listed events will take place at the training ground of the Edelweiss training center of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan.

Representatives of the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the CSTO member countries, as well as operational groups of the Secretariat and the Joint Staff of the CSTO will participate in the exercises.

It is planned to work out tasks with the introduction of new tactical techniques and combat experience, the Ministry of Defense noted.

The Belarusian group in all exercises is led by the First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, Major General Andrei Matievich, the press service summed up.
