In his address, the president noted that in the future, today’s schoolchildren will have to “build houses, sow grain, create and master modern technologies, and defend the Motherland.”

And also preserve historical memory, culture and traditions – the foundation of the people’s life. Study hard. I am convinced that you will be able to make our country even stronger and more beautiful, – the President emphasized.

Addressing first-graders and their parents, Alexander Lukashenko noted that on this day they experience the greatest excitement.

The President of Belarus wished everyone that this academic year would be successful and also gave many reasons to be proud of the achievements of children and young people.
