One of the St. Petersburg courts interrogated the famous singer Natasha Koroleva.
The performer of the hit "Yellow Tulips" testified as a witness in the case of the murder of musician Igor Talkov that took place 23 years ago.
TASS reports this with reference to a publication in the Telegram channel of Daria Lebedeva, who heads the united press service of the courts of the Northern capital of Russia.
What Koroleva told the court
It is noted that the singer was questioned by the Petrogradsky District Court of St. Petersburg as part of the consideration of a criminal case involving Valery Shlyafman.
Koroleva noted that she was present on stage at the moment when the concert, which took place on October 6, 1991, was interrupted.
According to the artist, the event was interrupted with the question: "Is there a doctor in the hall?" In addition, it was reported that Igor Talkov had been shot.
The witness added: after the incident the concert was not resumed.
Koroleva recalled that then “behind the scenes everyone was talking” about the shots.
According to the singer's recollections, at that moment people did not understand what had happened. All they knew was that Igor Talkov had been wounded and that the musician had been taken away by ambulance.
The Murder of Igor Talkov
The musician was killed on October 6, 1991. It happened in the Yubileiny Sports Palace in St. Petersburg.
The investigation has the following version: Valery Shlyafman, who was Igor Talkov's concert director at the time, tried to shoot Igor Malakhov, who was representing another artist. However, Malakhov managed to dodge, but the bullet hit the performer of the song "Chistye Prudy".
