41-year-old Russian singer Prokhor Chaliapin announced that he no longer sings.
The artist gave up his singing career for several reasons. According to him, it became difficult to travel, he was “already getting on in years,” and he also found another source of income.
Prokhor Shalyapin, less well known as Andrei Zakharchenkov, stated that he no longer considers himself a singer, writes the portal “Passion”.
He left the stage and became a blogger, as the income from this activity significantly exceeds what he earned performing on stage.
The artist publicly announced that he had become a blogger.
Explaining this choice, he justified it not only by the size of his income, which is important.
“I don’t want to travel, it’s hard for me,” says Shalyapin, adding that he is “already at an age.”
Therefore, he believes that he is no longer destined to build a career as a singer.
Let us recall that Zakharchenkov-Shalyapin is a graduate of the once popular TV project “Star Factory-6”.
At one time, the singer tried to pass himself off as a descendant of a famous Russian singer.
According to some reports, he even changed his last name and first name in his passport.
He became famous for having relationships with women older than his age.
He was married to Larisa Kopyonkina and was in a close relationship with Vitalina Tsymbalyuk-Romanovskaya (Armen Dzhigarkhanyan’s ex-wife).
