Two criminal cases have been opened against Russian actor Yevgeny Tkachuk, remembered by viewers for his role as Mishka Yaponchik.
He was detained several days ago at the St. Petersburg airport after a smoking pipe and an envelope containing a narcotic substance were found in his personal belongings.

It is reported that a criminal case has been opened under Article 229.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – “Smuggling of narcotic drugs”.
Tkachuk is also charged with acts for which liability is provided for under Part 1 of Article 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – “Possession of drugs”.
The arrest took place in the sterile zone of Pulkovo Airport.
During the inspection, Tkachuk was found to have a smoking pipe and a package of drugs in his bag. The examination showed that it was hashish (4 grams).
A medical examination was conducted, after which the actor was released on bail; the Ministry of Internal Affairs is conducting an investigation.
Let us recall that Evgeny Tkachuk graduated from GITIS and served at the State Theatre of Nations and the Moscow Theatre for Young Spectators.
He gained fame in cinema after his role in the TV series “The Life and Adventures of Mishka Yaponchik” and the role of the Jester in the TV series “The King and the Jester”.
