In one of the Philippine cities called Campuestohan, located on the island of Negros, there is an unusual hotel Campuestohan Highland Resort.
What's special about it? The thing is that the hotel's vast territory has themed buildings and rooms.
Here you can see numbers in the form of King Kong, mammoth, Dino Park, etc.
But the most popular among guests is the one in the shape of a rooster, said the project's inspirer, Ricardo Cano Gwapo Tan.
He also explained why he came up with this idea.
According to Ricardo, Negros Island is a place where game is actively bred, and the rooster symbolizes calmness and power, while at the same time it looks impressive and strong, which perfectly reflects the spirit of the people.
The building not only became a local landmark, but was also officially listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest building in the world shaped like a rooster.
It is 34.9 meters high, 12.1 meters wide and 28.1 meters long.
The concept development and design took only six months.
And this is despite the fact that the designers had to try their best, since it was impossible to ignore the peculiarities of the region, which include frequent storms and typhoons.
The construction start date is June 10, 2023, and the building was completed by September 8, 2024.
Thus, the builders were able to complete the work within 456 days.
Guests have access to several rooms, which have air conditioning, beds, televisions and toilets.
