This Woman Whistles Louder Than a Vacuum Cleaner! What Happened Next Made the World Gasp

Mississauga, Ontario resident LuLu Lotus has proven that the nose is not only an olfactory organ, but also a powerful musical instrument.

Her nasal whistle, measuring 44.1 decibels (C-weighted), broke into the Guinness Book of Records, leaving all conceivable standards behind.

Imagine: this sound is comparable to the noise of a working coffee grinder or a lively conversation in a cafe.

But how did an ordinary woman turn her “weirdness” into a world-class achievement?

It all started in childhood. At age seven, LuLu accidentally discovered that she could whistle melodies… through her nose.

"I loved teasing teachers. I would turn on my 'nasal orchestra' during lessons, and everyone would look around in bewilderment - they thought the sound was coming from the corridor!" the record holder laughs.

One teacher even thought that the wind was whistling outside the door, and he went out to check if the window was open.

Over the years, her skill only improved: closing her mouth, LuLu directed air through her nose, controlling the muscles of her throat like a conductor of a symphony orchestra.

But the real breakthrough happened when the woman thought: “Is there a world record for whistling through the nose?”

It turned out that such a category did not exist, so LuLu decided to create it herself.

On June 2, 2022, she headed to the Aercoustics Engineering Ltd. lab, armed not only with her talent, but also with thousands of dollars of ultra-precise equipment.

Measurements confirmed that her nasal whistle reached 44.1 decibels, the absolute maximum for a human nose.

"People are often embarrassed by their quirks, but they are what make us unique," says LuLu.
