The businessman renamed the book he bought "The Hammer Code".

Several years later, the new owner of the manuscript became one of the founders of Microsoft, Bill Gates.

It happened in 1994. Gates bought the book at auction for $30.8 million, after which he returned the manuscript to its original name - "The Leicester Codex".
