Decorating a New Year's tree, or for some, a Christmas tree, is a family tradition that must be approached thoughtfully, taking into account a variety of factors.
Briton Sam Homewood decided not to stand on ceremony and set a world record for the fastest decoration of the main New Year symbol.
The famous Guinness Book of Records does not describe how good the New Year's beauty was.
There are also no critical reviews from designers and stylists.
The publication only dryly informs that the speed record for decorating a Christmas tree belongs to Sam Homewood.
The man demonstrated his skills in front of thousands of viewers of the children's television show "Scrambled!", which is broadcast on the local channel CITV.
And also that he managed to complete the task in 34.52 seconds.
It is difficult to say what came out of this, but the record in Bedgbury (UK) was officially registered on November 12, 2018.
The publication does not report whether there are other similar achievements in the world, or about attempts to set a new world record for decorating a New Year tree.
