A resident of the American town of Hastings named Pal Onnen got into the Guinness Book of Records thanks to her unique talent.
The girl spoke exactly 56 words in one minute.
It turns out that she managed to say approximately one word per second.
So what's wrong with that, you might ask, and we'll tell you: it's because the American woman was speaking backwards.
The rules of the competition state that the participant is presented with random words, selected by independent experts, and must pronounce them backwards.
This is what happened with Pal: another assistant girl was sorting through cards with words in front of her, and Onnen was quickly saying them “in reverse.”
By the way, the previous record was significantly smaller, since then the person managed to pronounce only 39 words in this way.
In an interview conducted with the record holder after the competition, she once again demonstrated her unique skill.
As Pal explained, she made it her mission to bring glory to her hometown in Minnesota.
Onnen acquired the ability to speak backwards when she was still a child.
The American's performance resembles rap. If we talk about normal pronunciation, then among modern rappers, Eminem is considered one of the fastest.
In his Godzilla video, he spoke 229 words in 30 seconds, which is 11.6 words per second.
