20-year-old Braydon McCullough from the USA became famous due to his unique anatomical feature.

His tongue, with a circumference of 16 cm, is officially recognized as the largest in the world.

This result exceeded the previous record set by Belgian Sascha Feiner by 1.27 cm.

The unusual ability of a young man to "inflate" his tongue, which resembles a tennis ball in size, surprises not only ordinary people, but also experts.

Braydon's ability to increase the volume of his tongue began in early childhood.

For many years he considered this the norm.

“I was sure that everyone could do it, so I didn’t even demonstrate the skill,” admits the industrial engineering student at the University of Miami.

The turning point came in his teens: in middle school, he noticed that the reactions of his peers ranged from delight to disgust.

“My friends would ask me to repeat the trick, and then they would joke that I was an alien,” the record holder recalls.

Even when relaxed, Braydon's tongue has unusual dimensions: he describes it as "wide, fleshy and elongated."

This feature sometimes causes inconvenience - the young man accidentally bites the sides of his tongue while eating, and also notes a slight lisp in his speech.

Although short-term "inflation" does not cause pain, frequent repetition of the trick leads to muscle tension.
