Lawrenceville, Georgia, was the site of a truly amazing event.
The Big Green Egg company chose this city to set a world record for the number of fried wings.
To do this, they had to prepare almost 300 kilograms of poultry.
This undoubtedly impressive event was timed to coincide with the company's 50th anniversary and took place as part of the annual Eggtoberfest exhibition.
To achieve their goal, the organizers used 47 large kamado-style grills.

A whole team of chefs worked to create this culinary masterpiece.
The chicken wings were cooked in the famous Ed's Wing Sauce.
By the way, it was developed by the company's founder, Ed Fisher, and named after him.
The recipe for this sauce was born back in 1974 and has since become an integral part of the company.
You are probably wondering what happened to the wings?
Once the chicken was cooked and the record was set, a huge portion was distributed to visitors to the exhibition.
Part of the culinary record was donated to local charities.
