Almost half a thousand people donned dinosaur costumes and took to the streets in West Palm Beach, Florida, USA.
All participants in the performance were driven by one desire.
They wanted to set a world record for the largest gathering of people dressed as dinosaurs.
Spoiler: they succeeded.
Incidentally, the West Palm Beach Science Museum was the initiator of the event. It was held under the supervision of the official Guinness Book of Records judge Thomas Bradford.
According to the official representative of the publication, this record is quite simple, but, as practice shows, it is the simple records that are the hardest to break.
In order for an achievement to be registered, participants must follow a number of rules.
So, they must wear costumes of dinosaurs only – dragons are not allowed to participate.
People also have to stay inside their suits for quite a long time – at least until they are counted.
By the way, this time, representatives of the Guinness Book of Records counted 468 people dressed as dinosaurs.
This is 16 people more than in 2019.
Then 252 “dinosaurs”, that is, local residents in appropriate costumes, gathered in Los Angeles.
