About 10 years ago, Polish DJ Norberto Loko played at the club for 200 hours, thereby setting a Guinness record.

It turns out that this is not the limit: a decade later, Faber Moreira, whose real name is Fabrizio Morero, was able to hold out for 44 hours longer, thereby overtaking Loco.

Thus, the current world record is 10 days and 4 hours.

The resident of sunny Italy began his record-breaking set in one of the clubs located in the city of Saluzzo on May 15.

It continued until the early morning of the 25th of this month.

On stage, in addition to everything necessary for a DJ's work, there was also a bed - during short breaks, the record holder was allowed to sleep on it.

For every hour of activity, the DJ was given 5 minutes of rest, which meant that 2 hours accumulated per day.

Faber says he got through the first few days relatively easily, but by day five the effects of sleep deprivation hit him hard. The hardest were the last two days, when he literally fell asleep on the mixer.

Witnesses who observed Moreira woke him up with a bell. He also used ice water to help him stay awake, splashing it on his face and wrists.

But the DJ refused coffee, cigarettes and other stimulants, which, of course, commands even more respect.
