It turns out that toothpicks can be a "tool" for setting a world record.
This was proven by a resident of the United States of America, Joel Strasser.
In order to get into the Guinness Book of Records, the man needed several thousand sharpened wooden sticks.
And I still had to spend a little more than three hours.
Record with toothpicks
The record was set in the summer of 2018 in the small town of Lacey in the American state of Washington.
Joel Strasser prepared 3,500 toothpicks.
And not to start removing food debris that is stuck between the teeth.
The man began to stick small wooden sticks into his beard.
It took 3 hours and 13 minutes to achieve the desired result.
As a result, the American set a record for the number of toothpicks stuck into a beard (3,500 versus the previous record of 3,157).
Interestingly, Strasser got rid of the toothpicks in his beard pretty quickly. He simply started shaking his head. Within a few seconds, almost all the sticks had flown out of his beard.
Immediately after this, the man admitted that setting the record was not easy for him: his neck and shoulders hurt a little.
