Russian athlete Denis Vovk pulled a multi-ton Sapsan train behind him at a railway depot in St. Petersburg.
The athlete managed to move 650 tons a distance of almost two meters in just 37 seconds, which no one else in the world has ever achieved.
Andrey Vovk moved a 650-ton Sapsan train, setting a new world record, Izvestia reports.
This event was officially confirmed by the Russian Railways press service.
The athlete pulled a train to the Metallostroy depot in St. Petersburg.
The train was moved a distance of 1 metre 48 centimetres in 37 seconds.
As the athlete later admitted, at first everything went well, but then the train stopped, and he had no choice but to show the result.
It is known that there was nothing like this in world practice, so the athlete was going to apply to the Guinness Book of Records.
It is specified that to set the train in motion, the athlete used a cable secured with straps to his body and attached to the locomotive.
For convenience, a ladder was installed on the tracks, along which the athlete moved with the Sapsan on his back.
Earlier, Vovk manually towed the Lastochka train and an airplane at the Sochi airport.
