Rumeys Gelgi's name was first entered into the Guinness Book of Records ten years ago when she was recognized as the world's tallest teenage female.
Over the next 10 years, she continued to set new records, and her biography already contains an impressive list of achievements.
In addition to being recognized as the tallest woman in the world, Rumeys Gelgi is known for other records.
At the moment, 27-year-old Gelgi has set 9 records, all thanks to her height.
However, she owes all her achievements to a rare disease – Weaver syndrome.

- the tallest woman in the world – 2 meters 15 cm and 16 mm;
- tallest female teenager in 2014 – 213.6 cm;
- the owner of the longest finger among women – 11.2 cm;
- the woman with the widest arm span;
- the woman with the biggest hands;
- the woman with the longest back.
Rumeysa and her mother were also included in the Book of Records as the holders of a joint record due to the fact that the newborn was recognized as the tallest baby in the world - 59 cm.
To top it off, Rumeysa was recognized as the woman with the biggest ears.
In addition, the record holder has amazing hearing - she can hear people whispering in other rooms.
