24-year-old Sudanese model Nyakim Gatwech, who lives in America, was included in the Guinness Book of Records thanks to her unique skin tone.
According to the publication Argumenty Nedeli, the girl’s skin color is the darkest among all people on the planet.
Some users report having to increase the brightness of their computer screen to see the details of her face.
However, in reality, there is no entry in the Guinness Book of Records that mentions a person with the surname Gatwech.
Moreover, Nyakim herself denied the claim that she was recognized as the darkest-skinned person.
In an interview with The Guardian, the girl said that she was bullied by her classmates, which is why she even thought about bleaching her skin.
Later, Nyakim came to the conclusion that she needs to love herself in order not to let people’s words influence her.
In April 2020, Guinness World Records tweeted that they "do not track skin tone records."
