Curious things happen sometimes during sporting events, but they happen so rarely that they immediately become an "event".

For example, a little-known referee became famous throughout the world after handing out the largest number of red cards in one football match.

Fans of this sport should know the name of the referee and the date of the memorable match.

It happened in the spring of 2011, and the referee's name was Damian Rubino. He was the one who handed out 36 red cards in one match.

So, Claypole and Victoriano Arenas are playing on the field.

At some point, the referee got so carried away that he threw off the field not only the football players, but also the substitutes and even the coaching staff.

In the first half, Rubino was modest and showed only two CCs.

But the second half of the match was more lively. First, the players fought on the field.

Then the substitutes and coaches got involved in the brawl, and then spectators started to come from the stands.

Then the referee sent off all the players. He handed out the next 14 cards to the substitutes, then to the coaches. In total, 36 red cards were counted in the protocol.

Both the referee and the match itself went down in the history of world football.

A little later the situation repeated itself in Paraguay, but the record was not broken.
