In 2011, Albanian artist Saimir Strati set a world record by creating the largest coffee bean mosaic to date.
The maestro called his creation “One world, one family, one coffee.”
Strati worked 18 hours a day for 31 days to create the painting.
About a million coffee beans were used for the work.
Their combined weight was 309 pounds (just over 140 kilograms).
The result was a canvas with an area of 25 square meters.
The mosaic depicts five representatives of different nationalities: an African drummer, a Brazilian dancer, a European accordionist, a Japanese drummer and an American singer, who have become symbols of the five continents.
The project calls for peace and friendship among all inhabitants of planet Earth.
