Ibere Tenorio and Mary Fulfaro discovered that popsicle sticks can be used not only for eating, but also to create unique, dare we say it, works of art.
No sooner said than done, and now craftsmen from Sao Paulo, Brazil, are building a tower from these sticks.
The plan was a success: their creation was included in the Guinness Book of Records due to its height, which was 23.8 meters.
The most difficult part of setting the record, according to Ibere and Mary, was constructing the tall and fragile structure.
During installation, the popsicle stick structure broke three times.
For this reason, the large-scale “construction” had to be started all over again.
In the end, the tower of sticks did not stand for long, as it was knocked down by a strong wind.
However, representatives of the Guinness Book of Records managed to carry out the necessary measurements, thanks to which the record was officially registered.
