US resident Eric Booker entered the Guinness Book of Records as the person who drank 2 liters of carbonated drink in the shortest time.
It took the man 18.45 seconds to finish that amount of soda.
The achievement was captured on video cameras in 2021, after which the video was published on the official record website.
In the video, Eric can be seen filling a measuring cup with a drink (presumably Coke or Pepsi) to the 2000 ml mark and then drinking it in one gulp.
The video has collected thousands of views and comments, in which users not only admire the American’s “feat,” but are also seriously concerned about his health.
The commentators would probably feel better if they knew that this was not the first such record set by Eric.
He had previously set a record by drinking a litre of soda in just under 7 seconds.
But that's not all - on the same day he set another world record, finishing off tomato juice in 1.18 seconds.
