There is probably no person who has never seen a crow or does not know what one looks like.

However, few people know that the raven and the crow are not representatives of the same species of different sexes, but completely separate birds. In fact, the raven and the crow are two birds of the crow family, which also includes jackdaws, rooks and magpies.

There are a huge number of species of crows and ravens found throughout the world.

Among them are the familiar Common Raven and Hooded Crow, as well as the exotic Spangled Raven and Hawaiian Raven.

If we talk about the largest representatives of the crow family, then the leaders here are the common raven and the bronze crow, which can reach a weight of up to one and a half kilograms and a length of up to 65 centimeters.

Representatives of the crow family can be found in almost every corner of our planet, with the exception of Antarctica.

The largest number of these birds live in Eurasia and South America.

In America, however, in North America, namely in the city of Belgrave, Minnesota, you can see the largest crow on the planet - or rather, a monument to a crow, the size of which reaches 5.5 meters.

This sculpture was created in 1988 by FAST. It has a metal frame inside and car paint was used to give it a natural raven color.

Inside the pedestal itself is a museum where you can learn a lot of interesting things about ravens and the town of Belgrave.

Earlier we wrote about what eye color is the most common.
