A Chinese resident made it onto the pages of the Guinness Book of Records after building a 50-story building out of playing cards.

It took him five hours and five minutes to build the structure, and during this long time not a single card collapsed.

Let us recall: the previous record holder spent 12 hours on this activity.

It was American Bryan Berg, who built a house of cards 48 stories high. Remarkably, the structure was erected on a washing machine running in spin mode.

The house of cards, built by a man named Tian Rui from Qingdao City, Shandong Province, reached a height of 3.35 meters.

In order for the structure to be recognized as a record, it had to stand for at least 10 minutes after completion, which it successfully accomplished.

Tian Rui said he was very happy that his name would appear in the famous Book of Records.

In the future, the man plans to demonstrate new achievements.
