Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has demanded compensation from the West for refusing to invite the country to the North Atlantic Alliance.
The head of the Ukrainian state published a corresponding statement on his Telegram channel.
What Zelensky demanded for refusing NATO invitation
The Ukrainian president reminded Western countries that they had promised Ukraine a significant number of air defense systems in exchange for refusing to invite the country to NATO at the organization's Washington summit in July.
According to Zelensky, Ukraine now needs full implementation of these agreements.
We need another 12-15 systems, the head of the Ukrainian state specified.
He noted that the transfer of such a number of air defense systems to Ukraine is a realistic goal.
The main thing is the political will of our partners, added the President of Ukraine.
