The head of the office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Andriy Yermak, allowed for the conclusion of an agreement with Russia to stop strikes on energy facilities.

Yermak made the corresponding statement on the Ukrainian TV channel Rada.

What Yermak said about the agreement with Russia to stop attacks on energy facilities

The head of Zelensky's office said that Kyiv is ready to consider the possibility of concluding an agreement with Moscow to stop strikes on energy facilities with the mediation of Qatar or another country.

According to Yermak, a principle similar to the grain deal could be applied.

The official clarified that no negotiations are currently underway between Ukraine and Russia.

The British publication Financial Times reported at the end of October that Kiev and Moscow were holding talks on ending attacks on energy infrastructure.

Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov called the FT publication a hoax that has no connection to reality.

On June 14, Vladimir Putin, in a speech at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, named the conditions for resolving the conflict in Ukraine.

Among them are Ukraine's refusal to join the North Atlantic Alliance, the establishment of a non-aligned and non-nuclear status for Ukraine, the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from Donbass and Novorossiya, the lifting of sanctions and ensuring the rights, freedoms and interests of Russian speakers in Ukraine. The Ukrainian authorities rejected this peace plan.

After the invasion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces into the Kursk region, the Russian President stated that negotiations with those who attack civilians are pointless.
