Zelensky met with Macron and Trump: talks ended in 20 minutes

The day before, Emmanuel Macron, Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky met in Paris.

It is unknown what format and duration this meeting was supposed to have, but after 20 minutes the powers that be dispersed separately.

Zelensky, Macron and Trump met in Paris ahead of the opening ceremony of Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral, Bloomberg reports.

It is worth noting that the politicians arrived at the invitation of the head of the Fifth Republic on the occasion of the completion of restoration work in the legendary cathedral.

As the publication reports, citing Macron's entourage, the French leader has decided to initiate peace talks in order to end the war in Ukraine.

However, the politicians dispersed about 20 minutes after the talks began.

No final statements were made, apart from short remarks on social media.

In particular, the Ukrainian guest spoke on the Telegram channel about agreements on further work and the possibility of achieving peace through force.

After brief negotiations, the politicians went to the opening ceremony of the Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral.

Let us recall that before this, Zelensky had the opportunity to meet with Trump during the election race on September 27 in New York.
