The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, warned Ukraine and the West against aggression against Belarus.

The diplomat’s statement is quoted by MIA “Russia Today”.

How Zakharova warned Kyiv and the West against aggression against Belarus

A representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry stated that Moscow is paying due attention to information about the increased activity of Ukrainian troops in the Belarusian border area and is aware of Kyiv’s constant provocations using drones.

According to her, the hostile steps of the Ukrainian side force Minsk to use the army to ensure the security of the country and its citizens.

The diplomat noted that it should also be taken into account that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, given the failures in the special operation zone, is capable of the most reckless and cynical steps.

Moscow does not rule out, Zakharova continued, that the United States, with which Kyiv coordinates all its actions and which views everything from the point of view of pre-election situations, will try to set the situation in the region in motion.

According to the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, against this background, the growing provocative activity of the North Atlantic Alliance on the borders of the Union State of Belarus and Russia is of particular concern.

The diplomat recalled that the updated military doctrine of the Union State provides for the joint defense of common borders with all available forces and means.

She also recalled that a joint regional group of troops and modern Russian defense systems have been deployed in Belarus.

As well as tactical nuclear weapons, the MIA Rossiya Segodnya quotes a representative of the Russian diplomatic agency as saying.

Zakharova emphasized that the practical implementation of aggressive scenarios against Belarus will entail disastrous consequences for Ukraine and the West.
