WSJ: Ukraine plans to declare its readiness for negotiations

The authoritative American newspaper The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) received very important information from its sources.

They reported that Ukraine planned to officially announce its readiness for negotiations and conclusion of an agreement with Russia.

Kiev is ready to declare its readiness for peace. But it must be a sustainable peace, the TASS agency quotes the publication as saying.

WSJ interlocutors noted that the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Andriy Yermak, visited the United States.

They say the purpose of his visit is to establish relations with the team of the elected American President Donald Trump.

According to the newspaper, US Vice President-elect James David Vance was present at the meeting with the Ukrainians.

Also participating in the talks were Trump's future national security adviser Mike Waltz and Keith Kellogg, a potential special envoy for Ukraine.

Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga said that the head of Zelensky's Office arrived in the United States to hold a number of meetings, including with Trump's representatives.
