The United States is not considering the possibility of transferring nuclear weapons to Ukraine.

This was stated on December 1 by US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan on the American television channel ABC.

On November 21, the American publication The New York Times reported that some American and European officials are proposing to return nuclear weapons to Ukraine.

Asked whether Washington was considering such a possibility, Sullivan said no.

"That's not under consideration, no, " a White House spokesman said.

According to him, the United States will try to allocate as many weapons to Ukraine as possible during the remaining 50 days of the current President Joseph Biden administration.

So that by the time Biden leaves the White House, all the money allocated by Congress will have been spent, Sullivan added.
