The Kremlin called the idea of transferring nuclear weapons to Ukraine irresponsible.
The corresponding statement was made on November 26 by the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov.

Last week, the American newspaper The New York Times reported that some European and American officials are proposing to return nuclear weapons to Ukraine.
Commenting on the NYT report, a Kremlin spokesman said the idea was irresponsible and was being voiced by people who had a poor understanding of reality.
Who do not feel the slightest bit of responsibility when making such statements, ” added the Russian president’s press secretary.
Peskov also drew attention to the fact that these proposals are anonymous.
