The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus stated that Alexander Lukashenko gave instructions regarding the famous "Oreshnik".
In particular, he ordered that this Russian missile complex be deployed on the territory of the republic.
This was reported by Deputy Chief of the General Staff – First Deputy Minister of Defense of Belarus Pavel Muraveiko following a meeting of the Security Council with the participation of the President.
Let us recall that earlier Alexander Lukashenko asked Vladimir Putin to deploy Oreshnik in the country.
The Russian leader noted that this is possible in the second half of next year, when mass production of this missile system is established.
There is only one order – to ensure the placement of “Oreshnik” on our territory and to plan its use competently, – the publication “Belarus Today” quotes Muraveiko as saying.
Journalists asked him: how many of these complexes are planned to be installed in Belarus.
Only the President of Russia knows about this, came the reply.
