On Thursday, October 31, another potential candidate for President of Belarus became known.
We are talking about Sergei Bobrikov.
The fact is that it was on the final day of the second autumn month that the documents for registering an initiative group to collect signatures in support of the nomination of this citizen as a candidate for the post of head of the Belarusian state were submitted.
Bobrikov personally submitted documents to the Central Election Commission of Belarus, BELTA reports.
Sergei Bobrikov is the Chairman of the Republican Council of the Belarusian Union of Officers.
Registration documents of which other initiative groups were submitted to the Central Election Commission
According to information provided on the Telegram channel of the Central Electoral Commission, at present, documents have been provided on the registration of initiative groups for collecting signatures in support of the nomination of the following citizens for the post of state leader of Belarus:
- Alexander Lukashenko;
- Oleg Gaidukevich;
- Alexander Khizhnyak;
- Olga Chemodanova;
- Anna Kanopatskaya;
- Diana Kovaleva.
On Tuesday, October 29, it was reported that the Central Election Commission registered an initiative group to nominate the current head of state as a candidate for President.
Let us recall that the presidential elections will be held in our country on January 26 next year. Early voting will begin 5 days before the main voting day.
