What Ryabkov said about Russia's deployment of the INF Treaty in the Asia-Pacific region
Answering a question about the possible deployment of INF missiles by Russia in Asian countries as a response to the actions of the United States, the deputy minister stated that this is one of the options that has been discussed repeatedly.
He noted that Russia’s opponents and their satellites should not have a false sense of security.
According to Ryabkov, practice has shown that persuasion does not have the desired effect, so more powerful means are needed.
Including the deployment of such systems, from where they can hit relevant targets and act as a compensatory measure, the Deputy Head of the Russian MFA summed up.
