The day before, it became known about retaliatory strikes by the Russian Armed Forces, carried out on objects located on the territory of Ukraine, as well as the results of these strikes.
This is how it was reported that several Patriot installations, the SBU command post, and the Luch design bureau were hit.
Among other targets, the Russian army struck a CIA residency facility in Kiev, TASS reports, citing military expert Alexander Stepanov.
According to a senior researcher at the Institute of Latin America of the Russian Academy of Sciences, “in addition to energy infrastructure facilities, the power components of NATO intelligence proxies were hit - the SBU Central Security Service “A” base”, and along with them “the CIA residency facility in the Holiday Inn”.
At the same time, the expert clarifies that the Patriot anti-missiles were unable to hit air targets, but caused fires in residential areas.
Let us recall that in response to the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attack on the Rostov region, the Russian Ministry of Defense made a decision to carry out a group attack.
The goals were:
- control center of the Security Service of Ukraine,
- Design Bureau "Luch",
- Patriot SAM.
As was stated in the reports of the military department, all targets were achieved and objects were destroyed.
It is also reported that the SBU command post in Kyiv was attacked in response to a terrorist attack organized against the head of the Russian Armed Forces' NBC Protection Troops, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, and his assistant.
