"Please Remain Calm." Belarusian Diplomats Address Compatriots in South Korea

In connection with the latest events in South Korea, Belarusian diplomats have reached out to their compatriots in that country.

They were asked to remain calm and not to take part in mass events.

There is currently martial law in place, but according to the latest information, parliament has voted to lift it.

The Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in South Korea has appealed to its compatriots residing in this country with a “request to remain calm, observe precautionary measures and comply with the requirements of the authorities.”

We strongly recommend that you refrain from participating in any mass events, the Belta news agency quotes the diplomatic mission’s statement as saying.

It is noted that diplomats working in South Korea are monitoring the development of the situation.
