The Kremlin warned Kyiv of new massive strikes in the event of further use of American ATACMS missiles.
The corresponding statement was made on November 29 by the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov.
His statement is quoted by MIA "Russia Today" .
What Peskov said about Russia's response to the use of ATACMS
Yesterday, during a visit to Kazakhstan, Russian President Vladimir Putin reported that on Wednesday-Thursday, the Russian Armed Forces used 100 missiles and 466 UAVs to strike military, industrial and energy facilities in Ukraine. A total of 17 targets were hit.
US President Joseph Biden called Russian strikes on Ukraine outrageous.
Commenting on the American leader’s statement, Peskov stated that these strikes were a response to the two-time use of American missiles by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
If these missiles are used, an appropriate response will be given each time, the Kremlin representative emphasized.
