The official representative of the Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov, spoke before the meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State in Minsk.
He outlined the most advanced form of integration in relations between Minsk and Moscow.
Journalists heard that, in the politician’s opinion, the Union State is precisely what it is.
Without it, the press secretary of the President of Russia believes, cooperation in the area of security is not possible.
Belarus is a union state. This is the most advanced form of integration, and, of course, an alliance without deepened cooperation in the security sphere is impossible, the Belta agency quotes the Kremlin representative as saying.
He added that in this area, within the framework of current Belarusian-Russian relations, “bilateral cooperation is also developing and improving.”
Peskov emphasized that the issue is not even about increasing the supply of Russian weapons to Belarus.
This approach, in his opinion, is a very primitive understanding of the partnership between Minsk and Moscow.
This means that there will be an alliance in terms of guaranteeing mutual security, explained Vladimir Putin’s press secretary.
