Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov answered a question about the deployment of the new Russian missile system "Oreshnik" in Belarus.
A Kremlin spokesman indicated that such a decision could only be made by the presidents of the two countries.

What Peskov said about the deployment of Oreshnik in Belarus
Journalists asked the Kremlin representative whether Moscow would agree to the deployment of the Oreshnik in Belarus if a corresponding request were received.
Such decisions are made by the presidents of the two countries, guided by considerations of national security, responded the press secretary of the head of the Russian state.
Peskov also spoke about the agreement between the Russian Federation and Belarus on security guarantees and the Concept of Security of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, which will be approved by the presidents today.
According to him, these documents provide for mutual defense obligations.
This is probably the highest level of alliance, including in matters of security and defense, said the Kremlin spokesman in response to a question about whether the new bilateral agreements envisage Belarus’ participation in the special operation in Ukraine.
The Russian president's press secretary did not discuss the content of the agreements in detail, suggesting that people wait until they are signed.
