NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has spoken out against sending NATO troops to Ukraine.
The NATO Secretary General made the corresponding statement on the American television channel Fox News.
What Rutte said about sending troops to Ukraine
The Fox News host asked Rutte whether NATO was considering sending troops to Ukraine if third countries continued to support Russia in the conflict.
The alliance's secretary general responded that he did not consider the use of NATO troops a wise decision.
I don't think this would be a wise decision, the organization's leader said.
He also stated that Kyiv will begin negotiations with Moscow only when it feels that it can get something from them.
At the moment, Ukrainians are at a disadvantage, Rutte noted.
