Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that the Armed Forces need to be shaken up and brought into an ideal state.
The head of state voiced this demand on September 24 at a meeting at the 230th combined arms training ground Obuz-Lesnovsky.

What Lukashenko said about the need to shake up the army
The President recalled his instructions to improve the training of military personnel.
So that there is no unnecessary drilling, so that the guys are physically prepared, the head of state explained.
He stressed that physical training should come first, as should tactical, firearms training, and the study of modern weapons.
That is, the army needs to be shaken up and brought to an ideal state, Lukashenko instructed.
He announced a rigorous inspection of the military as a whole in the winter: not only the army, but also the State Security Committee and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Everyone has been assigned tasks, everyone knows everything – they must be carried out, the president summed up.
