Alexander Lukashenko addressed the head of the Myanmar government Min Aung Hlaing.

The Belarusian leader congratulated him on the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Myanmar.

Lukashenko emphasized that over these quarter of a century, a solid foundation has been laid for the development of relations between the two states in various areas.

The President of Belarus has no doubt that Belarusian-Myanmar relations have a serious future.

I am confident that through targeted joint efforts we will be able to effectively realize the inexhaustible potential of our cooperation, the presidential press service quotes Alexander Lukashenko as saying.

The President added that the development of cooperation between Belarus and Myanmar will benefit the residents of these two countries.

The head of state stressed that he would be glad to meet with the head of the Myanmar government in Belarus and discuss important issues with him.

The Belarusian leader wished the Prime Minister of Myanmar happiness, health and significant achievements.

Lukashenko wished peace and prosperity to the people of the Asian country.
