Alexander Lukashenko met with the head and coordinators of the initiative group.
During the conversation, the President said that it is important for him to know “what people are talking about,” that is, the issues that they pay attention to when collecting signatures.
The head of state emphasized that one of the key moments of the signature collection campaign is communication between members of the initiative group and citizens.
I would very much ask you to have all that data (voiced by citizens during the collection of signatures – Ed.) concentrated and to inform me so that I know what people are talking about, what I need to pay attention to, the Belarusian leader’s press service quotes him as saying.
In his opinion, this approach is a very “good sociological cross-section, ‘there’s nothing better’.”
Just write to me honestly what good people said – in two lines – and everything else that people demand and what is bad, from their point of view, the President asked.
He added that the problems that worry Belarusians are of utmost importance to him.
Lukashenko promised to work in this direction to correct the shortcomings that citizens notice.
